I accept Blue Cross/Blue Shield Traditional and Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO, and I am an out-of-network provider for several other insurance companies, which often means that your insurance company covers a portion of your payment. Please note that I am not in-network with Blue Care Network (BCN), nor does BCN cover out-of-network providers. Unlike therapy, coaching is not covered by insurance, so my coaching services are billed directly to you.
What can I expect from our first appointment?
Currently I'm seeing clients mostly over video, with occasional in-person, masked sessions depending on circumstances. We'll talk ahead of time about the specifics of my office procedures, but for your first appointment you'll come in a few minutes early so that you can complete some basic paperwork, or you'll complete it online. Our first meeting, like all sessions, will be 50 minutes long. There will be plenty of time for questions. I'll also talk with you about your reasons for seeking therapy and ask you questions about yourself and your personal history. At the end of the session, we'll talk about how to proceed from there.
How often do you meet with clients?
I meet with clients once or twice a week, depending on client need and the specific approach to treatment.
